7–8% isn't a traffic problem. It's a conversation problem.
The premise
We need more leads.
The problem
Lead-to-qualified-lead sat at 7–8% and wouldn't move. The spend was buying interest that never matured, the most expensive leak there is.
The diagnosis
I went through 150+ pre-sales calls and the connectivity data behind them: how fast we dialled, whether we connected at all, and what got said. Three leaks, three different fixes.
What we did
Speed.
Worked with product to fire an instant alert on lead inflow. Time to first dial: under 7 minutes.
Connectivity.
The unreachable weren't unreachable, they were mistimed. Dialling between 6 and 8pm lifted connection.
The conversation.
We stopped qualifying and started understanding. Open with why North Bangalore. Lower-density living → 7 units an acre, 70% open space. Greenery → a project that mirrors Bangalore's lakes and greens. Schools → the Dravid-Padukone Academy, Stonehill International. The buyer's reason became our opening line.
The loop.
The same motivations became weekly CRM collateral on WhatsApp and email, pulling enquiries even from leads we never reached by phone.
The result
7–8%16%
Lead-to-qualified-lead, January to March, then held steady.
Plus two digital conversions delivered directly from the rebuilt funnel.
When the message fits, the funnel follows.
